The edges and inside have been painted a deep purple. The whole piece has been sanded down and then rubbed with a purple distressing ink to give the piece an aged, loved look. The whole item is covered in several layers of a hard sealer and then sprayed with an acrylic sealer for years of protection.

This fun desk organizer, although small, does just the trick with keeping pens, clips and mail all in their places. High quality paper in three different, coordinating patterns was used to create a fun design. A shimmery purple ink stain was used on the exposed wood edges and drawer.
